College Leadership Program

Join Mowery & Schoenfeld this August for our Leadership Program for high-performing college accounting majors who are three or more years from graduation. This exclusive opportunity is ideal for students who are seriously considering a career in public accounting within a medium-sized growing firm, curious, and eager to learn.

Why participate

Designed for accounting majors early in college, this two-day program is built for students who want to accelerate their understanding of public accounting through meaningful interaction with professionals, hands-on learning, and direct exposure to our work and culture.

•         Learn about different career paths a midsize public accounting firm offers, as well as the benefits of pursuing an accounting career within a firm of this size

•         Receive hands-on learning in informative workshops

•         Opportunity to network and collaborate with other talented peers and professionals

•         Hear from the Firm’s leaders about the evolving industry

•         Understand the Firm’s mentorship and career advising programs

The Leadership Program will be held during the second week of August at Mowery & Schoenfeld’s Chicago office.  Participants will experience workshops, networking, career development and social activities. This is an exclusive opportunity, limited to a small group of students. The Leadership program is designed to provide a clear path to a subsequent internship.  Most of our entry-level new hires are former interns!

Application process

• Application deadline is 11:59pm on May 1st

• Selected applicants will be invited to late May in-person interviews (downtown Chicago)

• Offers will be presented by May 31st to be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

• Accounting majors, early in their college education

• CPA eligibility upon graduation

• 3.3 GPA or above

• Enthusiasm to learn more about public accounting at a medium-sized growing firm
